Full Sanding to Bare Wood
Staining only works properly on clean, raw wood. We clean and sand your wood floor using our dust-free sanding system, removing all previous finishes and exposing the natural timber grain for a perfect, even base.
Wood Stain Application
Once you’ve settled on the perfect colour, we hand-apply or roller-apply your selected stain. This could be a fast-drying Loba-Lecol stain, a deeply pigmented Morrells spirit-based colour, or a subtle Osmo tint. Each is chosen for the wood species, tone, and effect you want.
Protective Floor Sealing

Absolutely. Stain will not take properly unless the wood is sanded back to bare timber. Our dust-free wood floor sanding system removes old finishes and prepares the natural grain of the wood for an even result.
We apply stain samples directly to your floor, so what you see is what you’ll get. Natural variations in the wood may cause slight differences, but our process ensures the closest possible match across the whole floor.
With Bona water-based finishes, you can usually walk on the floor just two hours after the final coat and move furniture back in the following day. Oils may take longer to cure, but we’ll advise based on the products used.
